I know that sounds cliche, but let me explain why I deeply believe in the power of love: My mom and dad divorced when I was a child. Just a couple years later, I lost my sister in a car accident. Experiencing such profound loss early on taught me to cherish the moments of connection and joy that life offers. This is why I am drawn to couples—each is a celebration of love and unity that resonates deeply with me. An engagement session is a perfect way to celebrate this exciting chapter of your lives! It also helps you get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, allowing us to build trust and create natural, authentic images that reflect your love story.
How long does an engagement session last?
Most sessions last between 1-2 hours, giving us plenty of time to capture a variety of locations, outfits, and candid moments without feeling rushed.
What should we wear for our engagement photo session?
I recommend neutral, timeless outfits that complement each other without matching exactly. Avoid large logos or busy patterns. Bring a second outfit if you’d like some variety, and don’t forget to dress appropriately for the location and season!
Can we include our dog (or other pets)?
Absolutely! I love incorporating pets into engagement sessions.
What if the weather is bad the day we get together?

By entering this giveaway, you agree to the following terms:
No Cash Value – The prize holds no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another service.
Redemption Deadline – The engagement session must be scheduled and completed by December 1, 2025.
Subject to Availability – The session date will be coordinated based on the photographer’s availability.
Location Restrictions – The session must take place in the general Portland, Hood River, or Central Oregon area. Travel outside these regions may be subject to additional fees.
Non-Transferable – The prize is for the winning couple only and cannot be transferred to another individual or used for any other type of session.
Not Combinable with Other Offers – This giveaway cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or offers.
Session Details – The engagement session will include up to 75 professionally edited images delivered via an online gallery. Prints and additional digital images may be available for purchase.
Winner Announcement & Claiming the Prize – The winner will be notified via email and must confirm acceptance within 48 hours of notification. If unclaimed, a new winner may be selected.
Photo Usage Rights – The photographer reserves the right to use images from the session for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.
Modification or Cancellation – The photographer reserves the right to modify or cancel the giveaway if unforeseen circumstances arise.
